Instructions
For all fruit leather types: blend the apricots in a blender or food processor along with honey or ginger (if using).
Spread the blended fruit on parchment paper or silicone dehydrator mats.
Dehydrate the fruit leather for 6-8 hours or until the fruit leather is dry, but still bendable (See notes).
Remove from dehydrator and cut into strips or desired shapes.
Store in an air-tight container for up to a year.
Notes
- The dehydrating time will vary depending on how thick or thin you end up spreading the blended fruit on the trays. Start checking at around 6 hours and dehydrate to desired consistency.-kcal is per 1kg raw fruit. Dehydrated fruit will have higher calories. Note: this is just an estimate.- Serving is approximately 1 pint jar when the fruit leather is cut and rolled up. Though not all might fit depending on how tight you roll them.
