Oatmeal Porridge
Easy recipe for plain oatmeal that can be enhanced and flavored with fruit, yogurt, or other condiments.

Milk or half and half cream
Instructions
In a small saucepan, bring water to a boil.
Add the salt and let it dissolve.
Add the oats, reduce the heat and let cook for 1-2 minutes stirring all the while.
Cover saucepan with lid, turn off the heat and let the oatmeal rest on the stove for 5 minutes. All the water should be dissolved.
Add milk or cream to the oatmeal and mix well. Serve with fruit, additional milk, yogurt or any other toppings.
